So sorry for no podcasts for a couple of weeks. We will have it up and going next week. The night was hot and the air was thick but you couldn't feel it once the homeless started gathering in for dinner. Indian Creek Baptist Church blessed with a great meal and DeSoto 1st Free Will Baptist Youth group dove in and served while the Misfits mingled. Once dinner was served and bellies were full worship began with KooKoo and KoKo Nuts, Lisa Law then reminded us of the importance of prayer and encouraged our walk with Christ, and lastly, Randy Abott poured his heart out of what his earthly father meant to him, as well as, his heavenly Father. If anything was learned of this night with true value acquired it was this... Love as if it is your last day to love and love the people around you as if it it theirs. Most importantly, Love the Lord and those He loves. Proverbs 28:7 Whoever gives to the poor will lack nothing, but those who close their eyes to poverty will be cursed.

We just brought our kids church group back from a mission trip in Missouri! It was so hot down there, but our group had an amazing experience and were able to share the word with so many people who needed to hear it! I am not even sure that our kids noticed the heat they were enjoying being witnesses for Christ so much! These kids definitely showed their love to others and to those who needed it! Reply to this
